All ARC ALS courses are to be cancelled until further notice. This must take place from 24th March 2020.

From 20th March 2020 the Australian Resuscitation Council will no longer be approving Advanced Life Support courses during the current COVID-19 situation until the current COVID-19 pandemic has abated and expert consensus opinion is that there is no longer an unnecessary risk involved in participating in a course. The ARC will be regularly reviewing this recommendation and continue communication.

All currently approved Advanced Life Support Courses to be run on or after 24th March 2020 will have approval withdrawn. Consideration will be possible for courses specifically driven to upskill staff groups to respond to the COVID-19 response.

Certification and currency of Instructors, Instructor Candidates, Instructor Potentials and Providers will be extended during this time.
