It is with great sadness that the Australian Resuscitation Council informs you of the sad passing of Emeritus Professor Tess Cramond (nee Brophy) AO, OBE who passed away last week.
Tess made an enormous contribution to anaesthesia, resuscitation and pain medicine, she was also one of the founding members of the ARC and her death is the end of an era for the ARC, which owes its existence to her tenacity. ( Please see: Surgical News )
Professor Cramond’s life will be celebrated at a funeral service on Friday January 8 at the Cathedral of St Stephen, 249 Elizabeth St, City of Brisbane.
Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Surf Life Saving Queensland where she was a life member via here .
