ALS Course Dates

ARC ALS Expiry Suspended

All certificate expiry from 1st March 2020 is on hold and will remain current until further notice.

ARC ALS Certification Expiry has been extended since the outbreak directly affected the facilitation of ARC ALS Courses in March 2020. The result is that all expiry dates are on hold from 1st March 2020. We cannot give an end point until the pandemic situation is over and a period of normalisation has returned. On those courses being facilitated if an opportunity to recertify is available it may be advisable to take it.

ARC ALS Expiry is Extended for those due to expire after 1st March 2020:

Providers/ALS Certificates:

With four year certification all those successfully completing courses after March 2016 will remain current until further notice. ALS2 Providers with expiry after March 2020 (with certificates dated from March 2016) who wishes to undertake a one-day recertification course after they have expired (e.g. expired July 2020 as last ALS2 course July 2016) may attend a one day ALS2 recertification course.

Expiry requests for candidates and instructors on or until 29th of February 2020 will remain unchanged

 ARC resuscitation courses and COVID-19

As the restrictions introduced to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic reduce, resuscitation training courses may be reintroduced. The ARC recommends course centres complete a risk assessment for all courses and follow National, State/Territorial and local Health and Safety, Infection Control and Occupational Safety requirements to safely facilitate courses.
