ARC Resuscitation Courses and COVID-19

As the restrictions introduced to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic reduce, resuscitation training courses may be reintroduced. The ARC recommends course centres complete a risk assessment for all courses and follow National, State/Territorial and local Health and Safety, Infection Control and Occupational Safety requirements to safely facilitate courses.

COVID-19 Vaccination Statement - implications for resuscitation and first aid training

The Australian Resuscitation Council firmly believes that vaccination is a critical part of Australia's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vaccination not only helps protect you, your learners, and your community, but it also supports your colleagues.  Especially those caring for people who contract the virus.

We respect individuals' right to have their own opinions, but it is the Council's view that there is no place for anti-vaccination messages or any promotion of anti-vaccination claims.  This includes within advertising or on social media.
