RACGP 2017-2019 Triennium Upload Request

RACGP Points Upload request

The ARC operates a course centre structure where approved organisations and individuals to facilitate the ARC courses across all states and territories. Course Centres pay a standard fee for each candidate to the ARC for a certificated place on an ARC course irrespective of the professional background of that candidate. This fee is published on the ARC website in order to retain transparency in the course fees payable to the ARC. The ARC attempt to maintain those candidate fees payable to the ARC by the course centre at the lowest possible level.

Each course centre accepts applications and allocates candidates to their courses according to their own policy and practices. Applications should be directed to the course centre facilitating the course. A list of course centres, course dates and contacts are available on the ARC website page https://resus.org.au/course_dates/ . Candidates should apply directly to the course centre of their choosing.

Courses all require a period of pre reading and often are booked to capacity early. All courses need at least three (ALS1) to five (ALS2) weeks from the date of application to the date of attending the face-to-face component. Often courses are fully subscribed months in advance so early application to ensure a place is essential. Late applications within the pre-reading period set for the course will not be accepted.

Course centres set their fees for each candidate based on the standard ARC fee and all the other costs associated with facilitating the course (including but not limited to; faculty costs, administration, printing, venue, equipment, transport and catering). Course centre costs and candidate application fees do not include payments to colleges or other organisations associated with continuing professional development.

The ARC has adopted a model of partial cost recovery for the fees it pays to the RACGP to act as an Accredited Activity Provider for the college. This model supports the just and equitable payment of course fees for candidates of all professional backgrounds and college affiliations.

This model that the candidate submit a payment of $5 per upload to partially cover the costs payable by the ARC to the RACGP and associated costs of administration. This fee is set at a minimal amount and does not cover the total cost borne by the ARC. Please click here to request points upload: RACGP upload request link
